Respect
Tuesday, August 31st, 2010Self-respect is the first type of respect we have to create and maintaine…
If you don’t respect yourself and all the things you do and stand for,you
cannot become happy and be fullfilled. So by all means do a good self-
inventory and rid yourself of all negative baggage you may be lugging
around with you. The main benefit will be personal self-growth.
Now when it comes down to relationships…either close personal or
just relations with friends or even people that you may come in contact
with each day you must show them proper respect. Remember whatever
you dish out always comes back. Most of us are really unaware of being
disrespectful to anyone.
I read a quote from a daily quotations book recently that summed it up
pretty good. I don’t recall the name of the author ,but he said,”’ that when-
ever we are disrespectful of others in any way that we are poisoning
our own well water.” I never though of it that way.
When we become arrogant and play the role of being better than
others it is being disrespectful of others and they return the same
back to us.
We are not alone in this world. We need them and they need us.
The main question is”How many friends have I lost just by
being disrespectful ?
Open up your heart. Practice being respectfull to all you meet each day.
Use your 24hours to the fullest each and every day. Until Next Time..
You Guessed Right … John Thanks for coming and reading this.
