Value

Sunday, June 28th, 2009

I am writing this blog to share with others the

amazing value of living a 24 hour life. Nothing

absolutely nothing can compair with it. You

can take that to the bank.

Life on lifes terms… Life  just seems to happen.

Good things happen and yes bad things happen.

When bad things happen, you can’t just wake up

the next morning and puff…They are all gone.

No Such Luck. However you can put them

in proper perspective. Practice waking up

each morning with a smile and a positive

attitude. Remember that tomorrow is  just a

promise…Yesterday has been canceled…so

Enjoy Today.  If you happen to fall into a river

today, you will come  out with a pocket full of

fish.  Until next time….. John

Bump Continued

Wednesday, June 24th, 2009

Sorry about that. Anyway I do not tolerate pain

very well.I have always been fortuniate and not

much pain.. This is new to me. I find that I have

a short fuse , even with a little pain. I get

iritable, restless, and discontent. Anger finds

its way  out. Let me hear from you. I need some

help. Use your next 24 hours wisely….

Until next time…..John

Another Small Bump

Wednesday, June 24th, 2009

I will make my post short today because I am

experienceing some chornic pain.I know that

my insides have to heal and my diaphram has

to adjust  to a screen but for some reason my

left arm goes to sleep and then my whole arm

becomes filled with extreme pain. My left

elbow seems to be a pressure point.

24 HOURS OF PEACE

Sunday, June 21st, 2009

Is it possible to have just a little peace of mind ?

Can one rest at night and gain the benefits of

rest ? Can you face the world each day without

getting uptight over milk   that was spilled quite

sometime ago ?

There are a couple of things you can do.

One…First  have some faith is your higher power.

It can be as simple as a group of people who

believe in you. We all need that. It should be

the God of your understanding …you know the

One you grew up with. Believe you want to do

this and believe you cand do it.

Do what you  now ask .

The easy and fun part…Now imagine that you

have a sack on your back and it is full of bad

rocks. It is getting heavy now. Each rock is for

ill feelings, resentments, and poor me.You can

not get rid of them all at once. The goal is to get

rid of  at least one each 24 hours.

The next great thing… You do not have to carry

the load around any more…Remember this God

thing. Now  imagine a big hook in a safe place.

It is time to Turn It Over.

Take that sack and hang it on God’s Hook. Boy

what a relief. Don’t forget it altogether. You need

ony to return to the  sack once  a day at your

own time. Ask His help to  remove at least one

bad   rock each day. If one rock is one percent

then in one short year you will improve by

365 percent. Until nex time….John

TODAY’S RANT

Wednesday, June 17th, 2009

Actually I gave up on my ranting quite some

time ago. I found out that I can’t control or

change other people even though it is my

nature to want to do so.

Recently during my stay in the hospital,I

noticed a marked difference in younger nurses

and other hospital workers than in  your run

of the mill older nurses and workers.

In my generation everyone was taught  to do

your best at any thing that came your way.

A sense of perfection was just expected. Since

the take over of  TV most young people want  to

to the least they can and then get back in their.

They still want to get paid and yet not be

strapped with any responsilility. It seems they

all will tell you that they are just bored. This is

not just hospitals  but in many other fields.

Not to be to hard on them because many parents

do try  to teach them. However some parents

are so into self that they just use the T V to be a

baby sitter  for kids ages 2 through 21. Just

watch T V and be good. So much drugs and so

violence and so little growth.

Who said I could not rant anymore?  Please

wake up and join the 24 hour team. Become part

of life, Living is great. Until next time…John

24 hour wake-up call

Sunday, June 14th, 2009

Gratitude It is great to be alive and on the mend.

I had two stays in the hospital,. My operation

was a sucess, but I  had  a slight case of lung

conjustion and a more serious case of fluid

back-up.. They removed well over a liter of the

murkey stuff  and I begin to improve. I am

improving each 24 hours. and plan to start

posting  again on a regular schedule. Thanks

for all your prayers  and support…Until next

Time….John
