New Orleans ,Louisiana is between the Mississippi River and Lake Ponchatrain.

I live on the North side of the lake.Naturally it called the Northshore like

so many other  locations around the world.  This page will be used to tell you

about local Northshore AA. Keep in mind tha it is  spread out a bit.

First let me tell you about the lake. It is 24 miles wide and approximately

55 to 60 miles long . To drive around it is  roughly 150 miles….LaPlace I-10

to New Orleans 30 miles…New Orleans on to Slidell I-12  40 miles..on over to

Hammond I-55 the back South to La Place I-10 25 miles.

All of this is known as new Orleans District 12 AA….These three Louisiana

Parishes Include St. Tammany…Washington…and Tangiahoa….
